Company has established a variety of programs and offerings to support and collaborate with health care providers, including physician groups, hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). The Advisor for Health System Contracting will be responsible for negotiating and processing certain contractual relationships with health care providers across the country. This position will report to the Senior Manager for Health System Contracting.
The position will be based at Company’s corporate offices in Woonsocket, RI.
Major Responsibilities include the following:
Negotiate enterprise agreements with health care providers across a variety of platforms including 340B, Clinical Collaborations, Home Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy Collaborations, ACO Outside Party Agreements as well as others.
Work with internal assets to manage negotiations, including Legal, Finance, and Product Teams. Drive language edits needed to align with Company strategy and team standard operating processes.
Leverage internal assets to manage efficient negotiation turn around including prompt response to health care provider redlines and questions.
Work with product development teams to develop dynamic contract solutions and structure for innovative programs and services as they become available.
Work with legal, finance, and other internal experts to ensure contractual compliance and minimize risk to the enterprise.
∙Create and maintain contract templates to ensure they are up-to-date and in line with current enterprise strategic efforts.
∙Work diligently and collaboratively with health care provider business and clinical leads to execute agreements.
∙Develop companion guides, standard operating processes and tools for the contracting team to streamline the negotiation process.
∙Maintain an accurate sense of the healthcare delivery market relative to Company’s strategic goals. Keep informed of innovations and trends in integrated healthcare delivery, population health, competitor activities, and changes in healthcare regulatory requirements which could impact the viability of potential new business ventures and relationships.
∙Collaborate on internal market research projects to identify under-served markets and to recommend viable new opportunities, relationships, and programs.
∙Perform other duties as required.
Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute
