The primary responsibility of this position is to initiate, process and deliver consumer loan and deposit products in a contact center environment. Dealing directly with customers, assess banking needs to determine appropriate products and services, such as deposit accounts and various consumer loan products including personal, auto and real estate secured. Initiate and guide customer through account opening process, collect required information, complete applications and deliver required disclosures. Collaborate internally in the processing and delivery of lending products. Maintain communication with customer through full process, including adverse action when appropriate, while adhering to customer service standards.
This position is located in East Petersburg, PA. in the Lancaster area
This position is a combination of both administrative/sales duties requiring approximately 20% of time assisting customer on the phone.
Alternating work schedule:Monday - Friday 7 am to 8 pm; Saturday 8 am to 3 pm
This position requires NMLS Registration and Platform school training.
Places outbound and answers inbound phone calls, and retrieves online applications for sales, applications, processing, modifications, approvals, and denials of deposit and loan products.
Submits loan applications by actively listening, understanding, evaluating needs then suggesting financial products and services to best meet the needs of the caller.
Obtains and verifies all required information and documentation to fulfill consumer loans and deposit accounts.
Reviews all documentation for accuracy and completeness with the ability to determine incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information.
Proactively communicates timely information to clients, loan officers, branch employees, underwriters and others to close loans and open deposit accounts efficiently.
Maximizes the value of each customer contact through the cross-selling, up-selling, and referrals of products and services to achieve individual and departmental production goals.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience. (Required)
2 or more years Call center, customer service, or consumer banking. (Preferred)
