Description
The Compensation Manager develops, implements, and administers compensation programs. The Compensation Manager works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.
Responsibilities
The Compensation Manager oversees incentive administration and operational programs. Responsible for development and implementation of administration procedures. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
- Manage a small team of HR Compensation professionals and determine strategic priorities for the group which align with overall Compensation and business objectives and deadlines.
- Leverage technology to create innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Drive a culture of automation, continuous improvement and change management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (HR Technology, HR Business Partners, Sales Operations, Compensation, IT, Finance, etc..), ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities and how to engage with Compensation Operations.
- Track progress towards goals and ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
- Work with team to remove any challenges they may face.
- Drive process optimization, partnering with HR stakeholders to understand current process inefficiencies and use data and critical thinking to evaluate scalable solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 or more years of technical experience
- 4 or more years of management experience
- 3 or more years of process improvement experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Certified
