Working closely with the Communications Director, the Communications Content Editor will manage the production of communication content for Company’s strategic initiatives. The candidate must have demonstrated understanding of editorial calendar management within in a professional business setting, exceptional writing and editing abilities, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Equal parts lead copywriter and managing editor for communications content, he/she must be a doer with the ability to bring our brand voice to life, manage production processes, and edit feature stories for both strategic and editorial impact. He/she should bring innate knowledge of digital copywriting best-practices in formats ranging from email and blogging to advertising.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In conjunction with project leads, design internal communications content strategies and plans to communicate strategic initiatives across the business.
Manage editorial calendar and develop production processes in conjunction with Communications Managers to ensure timely delivery of communications content.
Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as the intranet, corporate reports, newsletters, senior leadership emails, corporate announcements, and presentations.
Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form.
Storyboard or translate ideas to a creative team of art directors and designers.
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization.
Manage the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.
Establish metrics, track progress and develop tools to improve communication effectiveness.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree required in the field of journalism, communications, English or related field.
Agency and/or corporate communications experience a must.
5- 8 years of experience developing and executing marketing and/or communications plans.
Extensive experience writing, proofreading and editing content for internal audiences and strong attention to detail.
Project management and stakeholder management experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demanding initiatives concurrently, balancing multiple priorities, working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid and deadline-oriented environment.
Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint.
Possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate and lead teams effectively in both small and large group settings.
Demonstrate leadership ability at all levels of an organization and ability to bring people together to collaborate on both short- and long-term projects.

Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands.
Occasional travel required.
