The Company Digital Ventures (ADV) team within Innovations provides strategic direction and creation of cybersecurity products. ADV identifies, designs and utilizes strategic processing solutions and technology to enable an evolving collection of capabilities to address our business objectives.
ADV will help enable all consumers to “love your digital life” through technology products and services which eliminate worries, improve convenience, and enhance the quality of online life – while expanding Company’s reach into new markets.
Company Digital Ventures (ADV) is looking for someone to help develop and implement our communication strategy. The Communication Strategy Lead will develop a road map outlining key communication initiatives and timelines aligned to critical product implementation milestones. Our team values strategic, curious, creative, results-minded people and consists of a diverse mix of professionals with expertise in design, technology, marketing, operations, and strategy. We wear many hats and while we work with organizational constraints, we challenge those constraints to ensure that everything we do has a purpose for the business and for our customers.
Develop a comprehensive communication strategy that supports key project timelines and milestones, in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.
Partner with Corporate Relations to develop key messages, control information and handle incoming requests from internal and external groups; you may be doing this without all of the desired information, therefore a capable, confident decision maker is required.
Develop presentations, program overviews, recaps, and other materials for internal meetings and presentations; present work internally to ADV leadership and other business partners.
Share your communication skills and knowledge with junior team members as they develop presentations/communications for meetings – we value mentors!
Provide communication workshops to less tenured ADV employees, as needed.
Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives and build relationships across the organization.
Work independently whilst also leveraging and collaborating with the team.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or related field.
Experience: 5 to 7 years in a Communications role.
Communication Strategy and Planning: Experience in setting objectives and developing long and short-range communication plans.
Writing Skills: Demonstrates in-depth understanding of target audience, highly effective writing style and expertise in developing compelling messaging to specific stakeholder groups.
Internal/External Communication Skills:Experience developing and executing both internal and external communication strategies. Solid experience building employee engagement, influencing leaders and helping people understand how their role contributes to the success of the company. You will also provide communication counsel to our leadership team.
Personal Characteristics: You are determined, always eager to learn, teach others, and help out your colleagues. You thrive on the constant change and that’s what makes you stellar at your role. You are an all-around nice person with an open mind who can tell great jokes.
