This Collateral Supervisor position is responsible for specific operations within the Commercial Loan Servicing department, in addition to the following:
Produce high quality operational results in a production and service-oriented environment as measured by key performance indicators (KPI’s) and service level agreements (SLA’s).
Identify and implement continuous process improvements that improve quality, reduce risk, increase customer service or reduce cost.
Effectively manage risk with satisfactory or better on all audits and compliance reviews.
Provide effective Human Resource management and develop team members by coaching, directing and demonstrating leadership attributes as a role model. Develop and coach employees with regularly scheduled 1-on-1’s and KPI’s/individual scorecards where applicable.
Promote the development of staff by encouraging training and learning new functions.
Manage turnover as appropriate.
Display Company Edge principals in every day interactions through people, process, and customer leadership.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Preferred applicants will have:
Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience; or a combination of post-secondary education, 4 years in related field, or 1-year supervisory experience.
Excellent PC skills and working knowledge of the systems used in Commercial Loan Servicing, experience with the SHAW system is preferred
Able to communicate independently & effectively with Sr. Management through written and spoken means, in addition, an ability to communicate clear instructions to a team.
Adept at situational analysis and able to resolve issues for Relationship Managers and team members independently.
Excellent interactive skills - able to provide independent resolution of personnel, team, work flow, and customer relation issues.
Able to manage functions independently, realigning assignments as required, to meet department goals.
