Ticketmaster UK is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Commercial Partnerships Director. This is a new role responsible for defining the strategy and overseeing the management of a number of key ancillary revenue channels to maximise growth and profitably for the UK business. Revenue channels include (but not limited to) Gift Cards, 3rd party relationships including Preoday, (Souvenir) Collector Ticket, and Merchandise including the Ticketmaster Shop. You will need to demonstrate the ability to combine commercial skills and delivery of innovative solutions to the market place.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Managing and driving the recruitment, development & implementation of new ancillary revenue channels, consistent with our goal to increase revenue.
• Manage commercial negotiations with 3rd parties and partners and develop/review relationships with existing partners.
• Develop and implement a strategy for each channel and for selected strategic partners to deliver growth and maximise revenue to ensure we are presenting relevant and attractive products effectively during the customer lifecycle.
• Line Management responsibility for Gift Card Marketing Manager including performance management.
• Work with the Business Development team and International Commercial Partnerships team to identify new opportunities for ancillary revenue streams.
• Manage the execution of new initiatives across ancillary revenue channels.
• Engage key stakeholders across the business to facilitate launch of ancillary revenue initiatives activity including Marketing, Account Management, Contact Centre and Customer services.
• Present monthly reports including revenue income channels.
• Follow market developments and benchmark competitors.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• Proven experience as a strategic sales/marketing professional with experience in developing and managing relationships.
• Experience in launching new products or marketing partnerships.
• Excellent business negotiation skills.
• Understanding of UK ticketing market useful but not essential
