Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions for all four Company lines of business. These functions include loan documentation, closing and funding, payment and fee processing, syndication loan and trade processing, credit administration, collateral perfection, insurance servicing, and public fund collateralization. Within WLS, this role serves as a National Collateral Management Group (NCMG) risk and control expert, consultant and advisor for the lines of business supported by WLS.
Responsibilities include serving as the NCMG Risk and Control Manager. This individual will be a member of the WLS Collateral and Insurance, NCMG leadership team. The role requires developing strong internal partnerships with the business areas supported, as well as with the Compliance, Audit, Risk and Legal. The position requires a consultative, influential, risk and results focused leader with extensive public fund collateral management subject matter expertise and proven ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
Serve as a NCMG subject matter expert
Provide reporting that fulfills various reporting requirements for Firm-wide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) Group and other internal reporting contacts
Manage all aspects of NCMG’s Business Resiliency strategies to include Disaster Recovery planning and testing, Pandemic testing and Business Resiliency plan reviews and updates
Own and perform Risk and Control activities to include Audit and Operation Risk Management readiness, Service Level Agreement adherence, Quality Reviews, Reconciliation activities and Procedures Management
Provide systems/applications release management support to include coordination with COAST IT and BMO groups, managing requirements development, system testing coordination, and leading the prioritization of systems development for NMCG
Conduct Third-Party Oversight activities
Perform Process Owner activities including Records Management, NCMG SharePoint Site Administration, Request for Proposal Process, and Quality Testing Process Flow Management
Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus

Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in finance, operations or business administration
Experience in the financial services industry
Commercial Banking Public Sector business experience/knowledge
