Company is growing! We are searching for a part-time Clinical Licensed Social Worker to join our corporate medical team based out of our Edgewood, NY office. The role of the LCSW is to provide individual and group counseling and to develop behavioral health programs specific to the needs of our associates in Edgewood, NY. Services will be provided in-person and via telehealth. This part-time position provides flexible hours and a full suite of benefits.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive support/psychotherapy program by providing a holistic approach to mental health therapy.
Assess, evaluate, counsel and support the mental health of our patients based on clinical findings and individual needs. Integrate external factors such as economic, societal, home and career influences in assessing each patient’s personal situation. Provide the best course of treatment based upon current clinical research in the social work field.
Provide clinical services with high focus on protection of our patients’ right to privacy and protection of confidential information.
Develop and provide support groups, behavioral health programs, mental health screenings and evidence-based health webinars based on demand and claims data.
Work collaboratively with the medical team and other Company health resources in an outpatient corporate setting to promote mental health.
Make appropriate referrals when necessary. Utilize Company health resources as appropriate, including the EAP, and partner with the Company Benefits Team as needed.
Meet with the Company VP, Corporate Medical on a regular basis to provide program updates and data demonstrating optimized outcomes.
Utilize the electronic medical record for accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
LCSW Master’s Degree
• Current and active New York licensure as an LCSW
5+ years’ experience in an outpatient practice
Independent self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge in use of MS Tools and telehealth
Knowledge of electronic medical record documentation
Fluency in Spanish a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
Advanced presentation and written communication skills, as well the ability to convey clinical information to associates in an easy to understand manner
Experience with successfully working inside a corporate clinic model a plus
