Description of Work
This position works to ensure the clinical fidelity of all Company Program (Company) prison-based and facility programs. The primary purpose of this position is to operationalize clinical development through supervision, training, and quality assurance initiatives for all Company programs. Other job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serving as a consultant to assure management of compliance with approved Company and departmental program standards.
Assessing the overall effectiveness of program delivery.
Working collaboratively with District and Facility Management to establish Company goals, objectives, and strategies in accordance with policy and organizational directives.
Serving as an administrative and clinical supervisor for identified members of the Clinical Development Team.
Supervising employees who provide all aspects of clinical supervision and training to clinical staff.
Supervising employees who provide substance use disorder treatment in correctional facility settings including, but not limited to, intake and assessments, documentation, individual and/or group counseling, alcohol/drug education, recovery planning, referrals, and continuous program operations and responses.
Implementing the strategic plan and development of all Company clinical programming as well as identifying areas for improvement.
Monitoring case workloads and staffing patterns to ensure that client and operational needs are being met.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with State Benefits. This position receives direct supervision from the Company Section Chief. The execution of required duties involves moderate statewide travel to program locations.

The salary grade for this position is GN14. State employees are encouraged to apply for positions of interest even if the salary grade is the same as, or lower than, their current position. If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated, taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity. Based upon these factors, a pay increase MAY result.

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:
Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, policies, and/or goals of substance use disorder program administration
Experience evaluating staff and/or planning for the effective professional development of staff
Experience providing strategic oversight of program resources including allocation of staff and assignment of case responsibilities
Experience in providing direct clinical supervision and training in the substance use disorder field
Credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) and as a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), or possession of equivalent credentials from a governing authority recognized by the Company Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Master's degree in the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in a closely related program;
OR Bachelor's degree in the area of assignment field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of experience in a closely related program;
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
