This Treasury Services Sales Associate role is an integral Treasury Services coverage team member who contributes to achieving new revenue targets and overcoming portfolio growth hurdles. Persons in this role have client facing responsibilities for assigned clients and the secondary officer supporting Treasury Sales activities with the client. This role allows an individual to develop skills for becoming an independent calling officer.
Sales Support Activities
Develop pre-call agendas and materials based on in depth knowledge of client's business model, industry profile, current relationship services and planned client activities
Participate in client meetings including responsibility where appropriate for portions of the client meeting (monthly "call quotas" to be determined)
Management of all post call activities and responsibility for completion/resolution of follow up items with the client
Responsible for the independent completion of RFP and RFI responses including the customization of standard bank responses based on in depth knowledge of the bidding client and their industry
Brainstorm with primary sales officer to develop and create targeted solutions for assigned clients
Develop customized client pitches and presentation materials
Quantify new deals/opportunities in CKC; update the pipeline as each deal moves through various stages of the "sale" with the client
Support implementation projects as needed by the TSM or Implementation Project Manager or Consultant.
Support the Treasury Services Officer in the completion of the KYC and compliance records for clients.
Marketing and Events Activities
Develop and maintain client facing relationship reviews of all treasury services used by assigned clients; analyze results of the review and provide recommendations for service additions, deletions and modifications
Proactively review monthly account analysis statements for assigned clients and independently manage any necessary client communication and bill corrections; monitor receipt of fees; actively work with clients to collect past due amounts
Determine participants, arrange and manage conference calls with clients and internal partners e.g. PSS and service
Develop data analysis including industry benchmarks, product usage, billing and volume trends
2 years plus experience in cash management or related field
Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Services products, pricing philosophy, billing process
Understanding of Compliance, Know Your Customer and Risk Awareness
Ability to recognize a client's needs and apply solution selling requiring a deep comprehension of TS products
Strong drive/ambition to develop into an individual contributor salesperson
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Time management, organizational and planning skills
Proven PC skills, highly proficient in Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and internet based systems experience
Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
Drive, self-starter and with an entrepreneurial spirit
BA/BS or equivalent experience
