The Ops Desktop Product Team is a dedicated group of Product Managers that are focused on large scale change initiatives to address Operational Business requirements across the CIB. The group provides a unique mix of Product management and project skills that cut across various businesses enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute change across the firm.
The Ops Desktop Product Team is tasked to create best-in-class E2E suite of Task Management offerings on JPMM which provide internal users full transparency of work, both exceptions and enquiries across channels, thereby reducing operating costs, enhancing controls and enabling better analytics.
In this role you will work closely with the operations teams and their assigned Champions to adopt the Ops Desktop products, initially focusing on OTM Email in line with the agreed roadmap and adoption plan, the moving to Insights, Optimize and Intelligent Analyzer. You will work closely with the Product lead to ensure that the product enhancement roadmap supports the on-boarding plan. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills who can work independently and are adaptable to change to join the team and help lead the program to success.
Summary of Responsibilities
Product Owner for Exceptions Management includes:
Understanding all elements of the Exception product – from how businesses on-board to the core functionality
Continuously monitoring and evaluating data available to understand usage, learn user behaviors and potential opportunities, and work to introduce new data and methods that do not currently exist
Work closely with Operations to understand problem statements, gather business requirements, and work closely with UX design to visualize how we solve for business problems
Work closely with Operations and UX partners to conduct research and experiments to learn and improve the current product offering
Assist Product Lead with demand mgmt. activities (incl. product demonstrations) and managing the product backlog (incl. working with tech on estimates and release mgmt. activities)
Assist Product lead in strategy development and informing the product roadmap
Partner with other product owners (in Ops Desktop and elsewhere) to identify and track interdependences and deliver optimal results
Work closely with UX partners to co-create prototypes and perform usability tests with prospective users
Work closely with PMO to manage and maintain relevant program materials that demonstrate current status of the product and the product roadmap
Manage strong working relationship across Technology, UX and Operations to deliver results efficiently and effectively
Skills and Qualifications
Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a great appetite to learn

Consistent track record of timely delivery against business goals
Logical and structured approach to planning, problem solving, and decision-making
Capacity to think laterally and understand the bigger picture

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
Confident decision making skills with the ability to articulate supporting rationale
Good attention to detail and recognised for having sound judgement
Excel and PowerPoint experience are essential
