Company North America is currently looking for a Chief of Staff for our North America Operations team. This position will work out of our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois and report to the Chief Operating Officer. The Chief of Staff works closely with the business leader providing management support and consults with the leadership team to assess organizational needs and design, deliver and drive appropriate business outcomes. This role will ensure all important efforts/initiatives stay focused and on track, and that reporting tools and metrics are analyzed and used to foster improvements and course correction. Responsibilities for the unit may include but are not limited to assisting with: project management, operational planning, audit and compliance, change management, training, communications, operational transformation and/or business improvement activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Serves as the principal aide to the executive, handling matters of importance on his/her behalf and being the liaison with management and staff.
- Facilitates cross-functional projects and conducts special studies.
- Provides input to meeting structures, agenda and content to keep business unit/strategic support unit aware, focused and results-oriented.
- Assists in the development and identification of business improvement opportunities/solutions, sets priorities, manages initiatives and leverages resources to execute change.
- Provides analysis and consultation to the executive and management team on major issues affecting the unit.
- Assists and contributes to business objectives and strategic planning activities.
- Facilitates the strategic and/or tactical business planning process.
- Prepares and/or contributes to the preparation of reports, briefings, presentations, and responses on unit issues.
- Provides updates in meetings to provide specialist guidance and enable the implementation of project initiatives to improve business performance.
- Manages projects with various change and communications elements and facilitates the delivery of the project solution to support the benefits realization phase.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8+ years of experience providing senior-level management support
- Project Management and Leadership experience

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Experience managing business initiatives and projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Ability to influence and lead without authority
- Experience in a fast-paced, large matrixed environment
- Ability to multi-task
