The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician 3 integrates programs developed to improve overall health outcomes with a focus on prescription drugs. The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician 3 performs advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician 3 oversees medication therapy, strategy on comprehensive medication reviews, and prescription drug optimization in cases where patients are taking multiple medications. Drives health awareness with patients through Rx Education and targeted quarterly campaigns. Places outbound calls to confirm patients are taking drugs and provides counseling. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
Active Certified Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida without restrictions
High School Diploma
1 year minimum experience in a pharmacy setting
Strong data entry skills: specifically using Word, Excel and Outlook, with ability to easily navigate multiple applications
Effective communication skills
Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
A positive, proactive attitude, energetic, highly motivated and a self-starter
Work ethic that is focused, accurate and highly productive
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Hours: Leader will discuss during interview
Department works 8:00 to 8:00 PM - Must be willing to work rotational workshift schedule:
8:00-5:00 average week day shift
Must be willing to work every 8th weekend minimum or as business needs
Must be willing to work 11:00-8:00 shift as business needs

Experience with Medicare Part D
Experience in mail order, hospital, and/or retail pharmacy setting
