Responsible for management and review of a portfolio of tax credit equity investments and loan made through U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation. Investments include Affordable Housing (LIHTC) Investments which provide tax and CRA benefits to the organization, as well as Construction and Permanent loans on Affordable Housing properties.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review and approval of construction draw packages and assessment of construction investment and lending risk
Review of property level financial statements to assess investment/ loan quality and risk.
Completion of site inspections and meetings with customers/ borrowers to ensure program compliance and asset quality.
Review and interpretation of operating agreements, loan agreements and other legal documents
Preparation of internal written and verbal reporting on portfolio performance
Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience
Two to five years of tax credit investment industry experience
Thorough understanding of tax credit investment management
Thorough knowledge of construction finance, legal documentation and requirements, real estate property management, and accounting
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated, able to work independently, and possesses acute attention to detail
General real estate background preferred
