Your role Are you interested in joining a sophisticated risk management team with the ability to lead BUSA in its efforts to manage credit and debit card fraud risk while delivering a superior point of sale experience? We’re looking for someone like that who can: – Take ownership for the end to end fraud prevention strategy for the credit and debit card portfolios. – Implement and maintain all card fraud procedures including point of sale authorizations, investigations, disputes management, and data breach response plans. – Analyze authorizations, non-monetary transactions, and fraud cases in order to validate systems, processes, and procedures as well as identify new and emerging fraud trends – Design creative solutions to minimize point of sale disruptions while controlling fraud loss. – Oversee TSYS Managed Services (TMS) procedures concerning fraud strategy, inbound and outbound fraud detection, back office disputes management, and collections. – Maintain and enhance fraud operational processes. Provide guidance and set policy for risk related actions performed by TSYS, Operations, and the Service Group. – Lead fraud dispute and chargeback strategies to maximize recoveries. – Stay up to date on fraud trends via external channels and industry committees. – Stay up to date on regulations impacting credit and debit card risk management. Ensure all strategies and initiatives meet regulatory requirements. – Ensure sound procedures are in place regarding regulatory requirements and take the lead in audit and compliance exam preparation and follow up. – Educate and influence partners in Operations and Service Group to deliver superior client experience while adhering to fraud policy. – Partner with Financial Advisors and branch management to proactively solve client issues. – Provide consultation and expertise on fraud to the broader organization in WMA. – Measure and report the performance and effectiveness of point of sale fraud controls. – Partner with Product and Operations to manage fraud risk on new product and payment offerings. Your team You’ll be supporting the WMA Banking Team in the home office as part of the Cyber Security and Fraud Strategy Team. Our group drives WMA Banking fraud prevention and detection strategy and manages WMA Banking cyber security strategy and governance. Your experience and skills You have: – 5+ years of fraud risk management experience – 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry. – Ideally 5+ years of credit and/or debit card risk management experience. – Excellent problem solving analytical and investigative skills, detail-orientation, independent thinking, and organizational skills – Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and high-level of attention to detail – Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to peers and management. – Knowledge of card economics and ability to incorporate risk and revenue in strategy design. – Experience with TSYS and TSYS Managed Services (TMS) a plus You are: – Self-motivated and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver solid action oriented results quickly – Strong ability to organize, analyze and interpret emerging and ongoing fraud trends – Self-confident, good judgment, and sound decision making and problem solving skills – Advanced proficiencies in MS Excel, SAS, or other data analysis software a plus.
