Position Summary
You are passionate and want to help drive RESULTS. You can effectively lead teams, develop talent and super-serve clients. As the VP, Programmatic, you will be the senior point of contact for day-to-day management and strategic guidance of Programmatic Specialists/Campaign Management teams. This role will also be a key strategic partner to the UM agency, own relationships and focus on new business opportunities, and represent the full suite of Cadreon products including AMP, Advanced TV, Paid Social, Company website they relate to the client.
Essential Functions
• Client Management:
◦ Act as a key strategic partner, cultivate, manage, maintain, and, ultimately, own relationships with senior leadership and key decision makers on the client team at UM in and establish strong/collaborative working relationships
◦ Maintain a solid and deep understanding of client's business and category
◦ Partner with peers on the team at UM to work on or develop new business opportunities
◦ Articulate and visualize plans in relevant, compelling formats (PPT, etc.) the overarching Cadreon programmatic story as well as value proposition narrative for individual capabilities (e.g. AMP), and present plans to the client, as well as develop collateral guidelines and templates
◦ Own packaging, articulation, and communication of key insights and results of existing business and ensure the content is compelling, accessible, and of high quality. As such, ensure key experts are involved, engaged in the process, and, when appropriate, present at key meetings and calls especially QBRs
◦ Partner with the leadership team and provide insight and requirements in order to continuously evolve the systems teams’ work with as well as new product offerings
• Revenue Management:
◦ Monitor, on an on-going basis, billings and campaigns performance relative to estimates and client-defined KPIs
◦ Communicate progress of revenue to budget forecast to the management team on a regular basis. Proactively escalate and communicate any potential risks
◦ Participate in conjunction with Management, Finance, & Operations in the overall profitability of the Programmatic group and achievement of revenue goals, including staffing and pricing as they relate to Coca-Cola.
• Campaign Management:
◦ Act as an “optimization resident expert” to Cadreon’s core constituents’ agency partner, client, internal teams and technology providers
◦ Oversee campaign implementation and performance including best practices, ongoing campaign-specific optimization strategies and tactics, bidding strategies, and client insight reports
◦ Act as the key point of escalation for campaign-related issues, and partner with internal and external teams to drive resolution in a timely manner
◦ Partner with the Marketplace Development (MD) team to incorporate and develop Private Marketplace and Advanced Data Targeting strategies
◦ Effectively foster, in tandem with the Data and Analytics lead, and guide client on their data and DMP strategy to ensure thorough integration into all campaigns
• Team Management:
◦ Lead and mentor the PS/CM teams in the development of strategic and tactical plans based on campaign requirements
◦ Mentor and develop his/her team, including goal-setting, collaboration, training, feedback, reviews and other career-development opportunities
◦ Assist the Operations team with designing the training and implementation of all internal and external tools and new employee onboarding for the team
◦ Direct team in finding creative solutions to both client and internal challenges and encourage knowledge-sharing across all disciplines internally to foster a collaborative environment
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Work Experience:
• 12+ years’ experience in digital media disciplines, performance marketing or database marketing with an ad agency, network, DSP or publisher, including experience in commercials and sales
Skills:
• Deep understanding of online ad serving, creative capabilities, behavioral targeting and data strategies
• Agency background is highly preferred
• Exceptional new business and client facing skills
• Well-versed in all forms of media including direct mail, print, broadcast, non-traditional media, paid search, as well as interactive/online marketing programs that go beyond the scope of “media”, such as affiliate programs, direct e-mail and non-traditional buying practices
• Experience in senior-level client negotiation and management skills, with clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills
• Experience in growing, managing and inspiring internal teams; strong leadership and organizational skills must be complemented by relationship building management style
• Proven ability to lead cross-team projects, communication & processes
