Job Description:
Organizational Overview - GT&O Chief Operating Office (COO) drives consistent, end-to-end unified business processes across GT&O including workforce management, work distribution, issues management, risk governance and controls, identify & access management oversight, independent review of horizontal operations exams and business resiliency and disaster recovery. The organization is also responsible for the management of key GT&O programs. Work Distribution & Identity Access Management (IAM) Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) oversees the execution of access management processes and controls across the enterprise by partnering with Global Information Security, Global Compliance and Operational Risk, and the Front Line Units (FLUs)/Operations. EPOs perform standard functions to identify and mitigate risks, achieve operating targets and consistently comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Role Overview - The project manager will manage a team and execute on project initiatives related to the IAM EPO. He/she will assist in managing project stakeholders to eliminate surprises and provide transparency to workstream interdependencies, issues, risks, and status. Leading by example, he/she will inculcate program governance and delivery routines to reduce execution risk and improve project integration with all workstreams.
Role Description
- Leads the adoption & sustainment of change by planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IAM projects, using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
- Responsible for developing change and project management plans that support the IAM program
- Communicates effectively both vertically and horizontally to obtain agreement between partners
- Responsible for analyzing present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
- Drive appropriate project management rigor across the IAM prograManages scope to ensure a
- greed/approved/appropriate value is delivered and commitments are achieved within time, cost, and quality parameters
- Directs end-to-end project lifecycle and works with matrix partners to oversee all phases of the project
- Will partner with the Business Support team and other project leads, key stakeholders and business SME
- Ensures transparency to key stakeholders, sponsor and champion
- Accountable for managing and analyzing issues and risks, developing alternative approaches/mitigation plans and facilitating implementation or removal of roadblocks across partners
- Communicate risks and rewards associated with decisions and actions to stakeholders in business-oriented terms and ensure all controls are in place to sustain risk mitigation
- Identifies and makes recommendations regarding work that will potentially proceed, be delayed or stopped when environment changes occur
- Represents the project in various governance and inter-department forums
- Effectively communicate with managers, peers and business partners on deliverable s, timelines and support needed.
- Partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change
- Ensure adherence to all internal change and project management processes / deliverable s and maintain status in the enterprise change source system (PPR Tool)
Required Skills
- 5+ years of program/project management, EPO, business controls, and/or process design experience with strong leadership presence
- Prior consulting experience and use of Six Sigma process preferred
- Business-centric mindset with ability to utilize sound judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
- Ability to manage a project in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive to results
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to present to large groups including executives
- Analytical and data driven
