The Business Analyst Specialist role provides support for activities in Commercial Loan Operations with an emphasis on risk control, executing initiatives and excellent customer Company website Support & Control provides support for production processes, application upgrades, operations readiness, training, and risk control processes. The role serves as a primary to the control function which reviews activity for adherence to risk policy on a timely Company website role also participates in activities that support User Acceptance Testing of commercial loan applications and internal operational initiatives.
Risk control includes gathering and monitoring of operational reports to ensure risk policies are enforced.
Control processes are documented and procedures kept up-to-date per operations and risk policies.
Requires strong knowledge of risk policies with regard to user access, user activity and system entitlements.
Acts as the system approver or control mechanism with regard to user access and user transactional activity.
Evaluates control procedures for improvement and proposes value added efficiencies.
Supports process improvement activity including process automation.
Identifies and escalate risk/issues where appropriate.
Communicates operational control processes to organization resources to maintain risk policies and procedures.
Analyzes and interprets vendor system change to document business process changes into UAT test scripts.
Documents test plans and test scripts.
Executes test scripts in the Application Lifecycle Management tool.
Evaluates system changes impact to business process for documentation and communication purposes.
Participates in the verbal delivery of communication to operational stakeholders.
Collaborates with commercial loan resources on initiatives.
Communicates progress to internal team members and manager.
Identifies issues that present unnecessary risk to customers and the bank.
Supports the business’ long term strategic objectives.
Develops and maintains effective working relationships with peers across the organization.
Analyzes and responds to production resource questions as appropriate.
1-2 years experience in commercial loan operations
Knowledge of commercial loan applications
Advanced MS Excel, Access, Word and Power Point
Strong knowledge using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Strong knowledge of department computer applications/systems and their interactions with other bank systems
Strong knowledge of commercial loan products and lifecycle processes
Strong analytical skills
Efficient time management skills

Excellent written and verbal skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to complete tasks and remain focused
Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
