A day in the life…
The Business Analyst is responsible for:
Monitor file transmissions, triage and troubleshoot errors and issues, including researching workers compensation claims in the Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
Maintain internal SharePoint sites, RMIS, Emergency communication and business continuity systems, security attributes, and 1099 Tax program
Serve as a systems administrator for department SharePoint and Risk Information systems.
Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership, and initiative
Serve as a liaison between internal claims teams and tech support on systems issues
Assist with maintenance of reports, including creation and completion of new reports and evolving/updating existing reports and dashboards
Support communication and change management when changes are made
Offer strategic guidance on how to best leverage our data and tools
Plan, facilitate, and execute short and long-term projects as requested
Provide general level department tech support and tech asset management
Provide backup and support to the rest of the Risk Services team
You own this if you have…
At least 2 years of related experience as a Business Analyst, including running and administering reports; recommending process improvements; driving change management; and implementing improvements, efficiencies, and dashboards
Insurance/workers compensation background a plus
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related area preferred
Proficiency with database queries and data analysis
Experience developing business process flows and documentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to successfully and cohesively work across multiple teams and to influence through storytelling
Excellent analytical, technological, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple and diverse, often detail-oriented, projects and tasks with dexterity and efficiency
