The Business Improvement (BI) Lead is responsible for providing consultative guidance, thought leadership and execution of strategic projects that are aligned with division or enterprise-wide goals.
The BI Lead is responsible for planning and executing business transformation initiatives including merger integration, process transformation, business unit reorganization, and enterprise-scale system implementations.
The BI Lead will work closely with executives to define, scope, mobilize and execute these strategic initiatives.
In support of these, this position will direct project teams of BI consultants and other WarnerMedia experts.
To be successful, this position will:
Proactively manage or direct initiatives ranging from short 2-week engagements to large complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
Be a trusted advisor to executives.
Be an effective change agent utilizing stakeholder analysis and change management techniques to ensure successful adoption of initiatives.
Facilitate and mediate project team meetings and cross-functional workshops.
Conduct complex analyses needed to prove or disprove the hypotheses driving project execution.
Manage large, cross-functional project teams.
Have a passion for the media industry and provide thought leadership.
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or Economics; MBA preferred.
6 years+ of formal consulting experience or broad scope leadership role in operations, IMO, or PMO.
Extensive experience in process re-engineering, organizational design or large-scale system implementations, preferably from Big 4 consulting.
Systems savvy, preferably in PeopleSoft, Trintech, and Hyperion.
Deep knowledge of Finance & Accounting best practices preferred.
Broadcast/Cable/Entertainment Industry experience preferred.
Six Sigma and PMP preferred.
