The Budget Department Analyst ensures that business and fiscal operations are conducted in a timely, complete, and accurate manner while maintaining compliance with state policies and federal rules and regulations. S/He manages all department grant budgets for the office and is responsible for executing contracts related to the work of the office.

Salary offered commensurate with experience.
Maintains budget, expenses and reporting for the office.
Monitors expenses and electronic ledgers; payroll and benefits by comparing to budget.
Reconciles the total amount of invoices and track any items processed in the general ledger.
Creates and submits monthly invoice according to funder guidelines.
Reviews and approves or denies purchases according to funder guidelines.
Produces and delivers all required financial reports and status of deliverables.
Oversees monthly budget meetings for leadership team.
Obtains all quotes from vendors and serves as liaison in providing technical assistance regarding purchases.
Prepares and monitors all Contracting Officer Approval (COA) requests with federal program office.
Reviews monthly bills and ensures all costs are charged to the contract appropriately.
Creates IDTs for expense transfers.
Maintains all financial records.
Prepares budgets and budget justifications for new and continued funding.
Participates in all budget related meetings.
Recommends operational and financial improvements to the Office leadership within the guidelines of state and federal regulations.
Serves as backup for contract subordinate staff in: office management, inventory reporting, purchasing system entry, etc.
Serves as business contact liaison with Company and funders.
Assists office leadership with all contract funding applications and reporting.
May perform other duties as requested.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Health Administration or a related field
Five (5) years of experience with finance, accounting and budgeting
