About the role
Exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of expanding on RB’s successful VEO Probiotic Cleaner launch in 2019 and leading key US Household Innovation Pipeline for brands including – Resolve, Rid-X, Limeaway and the rest of the HH portfolio. This position is responsible for running the VEO business and for the development of RB US HH innovation path for our Business to Business and Hardware businesses through the achievement of specific growth objectives. The position resides within the US Hygiene business unit and will support the Marketing Team leader for assigned brands within the portfolio in Insight development, New Product funnel creation and Activation capacities. The Brand Manager will play a key role in continuing the growth of VEO Probiotic cleaner and supporting the development of the overall innovation strategy and is expected to drive the growth of the newly developed initiatives from concept through launch via excellent marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities for VEO Include:
Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to active marketing plans on VEO and continue it’s brand growth through best-in-class in market executions
Developing long term brand strategies that showcase an understanding of brand, competitive and market conditions
Develop and execute Innovation Plan with 2-5 year time horizons inclusive of both marketing and trade support strategies
Partner with Insights and Shopper Research teams to develop and execute insight/product concept research plan and execution
Work in close co-operation with the Trade Marketing function to identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with new product initiatives
Work cross functionally with supply, sales, regulatory, insights and finance to develop and execute successful New Products platforms and executions to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets
Work with and identify new external suppliers to leverage capabilities and speed to market behind innovation strategy
• Bachelor's degree, an MBA a plus but not required
• Solid experience in development of strategy thought launch execution of new initiatives
• Experience in Research/Insight development
• Experience is working with cross functional teams both internal and external
• Experience with marketing models beyond traditional TVC advertising preferred (professional; digital; etc.) a plus
• Min. 4 years' experience in brand
• Proven leadership skills and experience
• Excellent analytical skills and Project management skills
• Very strong verbal/written communication skills
