NBC Owned Stations is looking for a Brand Director to help build awareness and market LX, a new multi-platform news product and soon to be over-the-air network.

You will help grow the mission and content priorities for our team. You will develop a brand and campaign designed to draw an untapped audience. Be the ambassador of a new brand for delivering the news
Strategize effective ways to deliver promotional content on multiple platforms using emerging technology
Lead the conversation about messaging, promotion and external campaigns
Manage a team of marketing producers
Encourage risk taking and celebrate failures as paths to successful innovation
Have a keen sense of judgment, able to identify trends and marketing opportunities
At least 3 years of professional experience in news promotion, digital or content marketing fields
Experience developing content for digital and/or over the top (OTT) platforms
Understanding and track record of acquiring and retaining audiences

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overnights
Must be willing to travel and work extended shifts and/or on weekends with short notice
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older
