Branch Operations Manager
This is a full-time exempt position with typical business work hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, some over-time may be required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. As the Branch Operations Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a sense of urgency, willingness to work closely with others, and be part of the team. This is an exempt position.
The purpose of this role is to provide a single level of oversight for the entire mortgage process including disclosures, processing, underwriting and loan closing process. The role may oversee the entire loan manufacturing process for branch processes and fulfillment.
Preferred Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, some college preferred; College degree desired.
Intermediate to computer proficiency skills with MS Office, Excel and Mortgage Loan Applications/Software) Encompass 360 desired.
A minimum of three (3) years of recent work experience in mortgage loan processing is required, management experience preferred.
Thorough understanding of underwriting policies and procedures, as well as investor guidelines and regulatory updates including knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FMLMC guidelines and standards.
Must be familiar with LP and DU underwriting.
Must have proven analytical and decision-making skills, possess a positive attitude and demonstrate flexibility in an environment that is moving forward.
Excellent customer service skills; written and oral communication skills and ability to demonstrate control, flexibility and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demand.
Ability to multi-task and operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements a plus.
Must be a team player and be willing to constructively contribute to the department.
Must be trustworthy and have a strong work ethic.
Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
