The purpose of the Part Time Student Program is to provide employment experience in a productive and participative work place, and financially assist full-time college students in their pursuits of academic excellence.
This position is a part of the Parts Division that provides direct support to Supply Chain Management specialists. Tasks include entering data provided by suppliers to communicate services part availability, traveling to local suppliers to expedite delivery of critical parts, and other support related duties as assigned.
Support delivery specialists with various activities involving suppliers and system updates
Support supplier performance related initiatives such as On-Time delivery, delivery trouble reports and new model preparedness
Record and improve existing procedural documentation
Major in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics preferred
Full-time student status at an accredited 4-year college/university
Minimum 2.5 GPA or better (Transcripts Required)
6 units or two courses per quarter or semester
Be available to work an average of 20-25 hours per week
Previous office experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Exhibited leadership, problem solving, and collaboration skills
Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
