The Associate Director is the point person for all activities related to Diversity and Inclusion at The Company. The Associate Director provides leadership and supports all efforts at The Company to Company a dynamic, caring community through a diverse and invested School community that promotes inclusion and mutual respect. The Associate Director works closely with Company Deans, and the faculty and the staff to create programming, resources, and strategic initiatives that facilitate a sense of belonging among all members of the community and contribute to the successful achievement of community members’ objectives.
Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of Master’s degree, with preference for terminal degree in a related field), or related fields and 5 -8 years of experience in role supporting diversity and inclusion efforts in an institution of higher education.
Demonstrated understanding of, and support for, key precepts in diversity and inclusion including critical race theory, feminism, queer theory, privilege, protected classes, micro-aggressions, cognitive empathy, nonviolent communications etc.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in an office environment that is diverse by race, gender, sexuality, religion, etc.
Subject matter expertise in diversity & inclusion, unconscious bias, talent development, and organizational development within a global environment.
Influence and consultative skills.
A track record of leading and managing change.
Results oriented and data-driven, able to gather relevant data to measure the impact of educational interventions.
Dedication to continuous improvement and excellence.
Strong programming experience.
Feedback and coaching skills.
Written and Verbal Communication:
