The building and operation of an efficient marketing organization that is data and insights driven to manage this marketing investment is critical to enable this aggressive growth. The Business Operations team in Company website’s marketing organization is responsible for driving the efficient operations of the marketing activities across media channels and retail verticals.
The Associate Director, Marketing Business Operations, located in our San Bruno offices, reporting into the Director of Marketing Business Operations will be a key role that will enable the data driven operations of the marketing organization on a day to day basis. The role will define and operationalize the framework to measure the business. The role will work with channel and retail category leaders across the organization to synthesize the insights and drivers of performance, align on actions and drive the follow through of the actions to accelerate ahead or course correct.
•Partner with leaders in marketing and other leaders in the organization to define, socialize and implement the framework in which to operate and measure the Company website business from a marketing perspective.
•Partner in particular with the Marketing Finance organization to maintain accurate and actionable budgets and forecasts.
•Stay on top of performance by category, efficiency of marketing channels and performance of the website. Publish the same on a regular cadence (daily, weekly and monthly) to stakeholders in and outside marketing.
•Work closely with the Marketing Analytics organization to ensure that key workflows, data requirements and dashboards required for operation of the marketing organization are resourced and set in place.
•Prepare material and at times represent marketing in key operational meetings across the company with a perspective on marketing performance and capability to drive the business.
•Co-ordinate with internal marketing leaders on actionable outcomes from cross functional meetings.
•Drive action oriented eCommerce marketing business reviews on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that socialize insights and drive actionable outputs.
•Keep marketing functions accountable to goals and committed actions.
•Drive understanding of customer journeys, customer segment behaviors, channel efficiency and cross channel attribution.
•Perform ad-hoc marketing analysis required at any point of time.
