Associate, Capital Markets Research to work in Portland, OR: Collect, evaluate, and apply statistical and financial data on the economy and financial markets, specifically with respect to researching common stocks within specific industries. Analyze and synthesize researched data and presentation of trends and ideas with regard to business opportunities and investment decision making processes. Formulate and issue opinions and recommendations on securities and companies in one or more industry groups. Prepare reports, opinions, recommendations, and statistical data, including assisting in financial statement modeling, for use in the formulation of the investment policies and/or recommendations. Interview company executives or industry leaders to develop and maintain sources of information in preparation of analyses.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Finance (or equivalent based on evaluation of academic credentials, training and/or experience) as well as six months in job or job related experience to include collect, evaluate, and apply statistical and financial data on the economy and financial markets; analyze trends and ideas with regard to business opportunities and investment decision making processes; interview company executives or industry leaders to develop and maintain sources of information in preparation of analyses; and prepare reports, opinions, recommendations, and statistical data, including assisting in financial statement modeling, for use in the formulation of the investment policies and/or recommendations. Suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
