Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum five (5) years recent experience in a Radiation Therapy/Oncology, Ambulatory care or healthcare setting or equivalent
Minimum five (5) years of experience in area of radiation therapy
Minimum five (5) years management experience
Experience in creating business process improvement, standardization across multiple specialties.
Familiarity with hospital/health care strategic issues.
Demonstrated project management experience in a health care setting.
Ability to measure and improve outcomes.
Familiarity with information systems, regulatory compliance issues, particularly for academic practices, and business operations for physician groups.
Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
This position is responsible for the effective operations of Radiation Oncology services across Keck Medicine of Company. This position has responsibility for the administrative, business process and design, and clinical management/delivery of Radiation Oncology services and reports to the Chief Regional Oncology Officer to assure the efficient operation of all Radiation Therapy business operations. This position also leads the planning of strategy for expansion and delivery of high quality Radiation Therapy services. Delivers services that add value and integrates radiation oncology services with the organization's strategic, business and operational goals and objectives. This individual will assess, plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of the program and ensure their financial viability, quality of service, efficient and effective operation. The Associate Administrator is responsible for ensuring consistency and accountability for the delivery of quality services and operational management of assigned area(s). The job encompasses integration, facilitation and coordination of the leadership, management, and operational services. This individual serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor and resource of the support services team. Consistently ensures that staff possesses knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate services to meet the support services’ needs of Company Care satellite clinics and Keck Medicine of Company. The individual must consistently support the mission and values of the organization, and acts as a role model relative to the Hospitals. Advanced operational and managerial knowledge and experience in support services clinical administration.
