The Assistant Director of Sports Turf Operations will assist the Director of Sports Turf Operations with day-to-day operations related to maintaining the surfaces of various natural and artificial turf athletic fields and landscaping of the athletic facilities. This position will function as the primary Sports Turf Operations contact in the director’s absence.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
Supervisory experience
Experience in baseball field management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science, Turf Grass Science, Biology, Sports Management, or a related Bachelor’s degree in a related field
At least three years of supervisory experience in athletic field and turf management
Arkansas certified pesticide license in the categories necessary to meet all EPA and State laws and regulations pertaining to Sports Turf Management or the ability to obtain within six months of employment
