We are seeking to fill a 12-month fixed-term or tenure-track appointment. Rank is commensurate with experience. Anticipated begin work date is Fall 2020 or thereafter.
We are seeking candidates for the area of nurse anesthesia. Responsible for course instruction and other duties that involve classroom, clinical, project, and simulation instruction. Participates in student admission procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Abundant interpersonal skills for the effective instruction of students and collegial collaboration with other faculty
Analytical and problem-solving skills essential for coordinating student didactic and clinical activities
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
A minimum of 2 years experience in the clinical setting as a CRNA
Masters degree in Nursing or related discipline; Candidates who do not currently possess a doctoral degree but are experientially qualified and enrolled in a doctoral program with an expected degree completion within 12-18 months of application may be considered for this position
Licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse
Doctoral degree in Nursing or related discipline
Experience with regional anesthesia/or with simulation
