The AWM Ops Change Mobilization team partners with Operations, Technology and Business leadership to take the best of what we do, within and across LOBs, and drive deliberate cross-pollination across AWM Operations teams, promoting global process consistency and standards. We focus on evolving the organization’s capabilities to move from lower to higher-value added tasks, and creating agile processes, teams and infrastructure that enable differentiated client experiences and outcomes. We follow a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify opportunities and employ co-design principles to create effective, scalable, well controlled solutions. Those solutions seek to differentially equip our people and support their development as Operations professionals of the future. We serve the broader organization and maintain a service-oriented attitude in all that we do.
Current initiatives include:
Service Design – lead co-creation of end-to-end, front-to-back target service experiences, purposefully aligning people, processes and systems to deliver improved employee experience and better client outcomes
Business Process & Decision Modeling – capture current and design future state processes and business logic; model capacity and costing; simulate the impact of change; and drive integration into underlying core technology
Analytics Transformation – govern and support adoption of Alteryx, Tableau and Qlik in both a COE and federated model; drive value creation through automation of manual data preparation and reporting tasks; lead product development of interactive analytics
Intelligent Automation – manage ongoing automation initiatives using Xceptor and Robotics Process Automation; liaise with firm-wide programs and represent AWM Operations in evaluation and implementation of existing and emerging digital tools
Common Capabilities Product Ownership – drive product development of core technology components that can be leveraged across AWM; initial components include task management, workflow, content & document management, checklist & evidencing.
As part of the Change Mobilization team, the Business Process and Decision Management center of excellence focuses on building a best in class process and decision automation capability across AWM using a Low Code approach, and in using these capabilities to drive high value automation initiatives.
Current key capabilities under Change Mobilization include Business Process and Decision Management, Intelligent Automation, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Service Design
Lead and Drive High Value Automation Engagements: As an experienced Business Decision Management and Modeling professional, you will lead critical projects and team resources to model the current and future state process model/decision models, to drive their optimization, and to manage key stakeholders across Asset and Wealth Management
Capability Building and Product Management: In addition to supporting key initiatives, you will drive the support and growth of the Process and Decision low code automation capability, and center of excellence across all aspects. This includes partnering with and driving and Technology strategy, developing and implementing governance and quality control standards, driving organizational change management, and integrating with other low code capabilities such as WF automation, RPA, etc.
Design and drive repository architecture: Part of your responsibility in this role will be to lead the design and implementation of the repository architecture, associated principles, and related governance to drive top down and bottoms up transparency into the end to end AWM processes.
Modeler: As an expert modeler, you will also be required to follow the standard notations, version management, use of asset libraries etc. to build high quality models. The responsibility will include providing guidance, support and training to other process modelers on the standard notations and procedures, build standard dictionaries and asset libraries, review and publishing of models.
Leadership: As a senior member of team, you will be required to drive agenda, actively contribute to team’s strategy and direction, and lead members of the team across all facets above
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and drive key process and decision automation engagements across AWM
Drive and product manage BPM and BDM capabilities in a holistic manner for AWM
Be an active member of the Design Modeling Center of Excellence and support the community of practice members.
Actively participate and provide hands-on support during problem identification sessions, to help capture and document problems, major issues and actionable opportunities
Manage and track deliverables, and provide status reports as required by management
Develop deep trust-based relationships with stakeholders, and colleagues
Partner with Operations teams to track and monitor deliverables as they implement recommendations
Partner with Technology teams to design and build Implementation solutions for workflow and business decisions
Support the automation of process and decision models with Technology
Drive training courses across Business Process and Decision Management
Identify and raise potential roadblocks / obstacles and escalate issues to the team
Interact with other high-performing teams within JPM to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank
Continually look for opportunities to support the team’s service offering with a focus on repeatable, scalable, exportable practices and tools
10+ years of combined experience across process and decision re-engineering and automation
5+ years of experience working low code automation capabilities and a deep understating of low code implementation lifecycle
5+ years of experience managing change management teams with focus on process and decision management
Expert knowledge on BPMN, DMN, CMMN and other process modelling frameworks
Experience with workflow automation, and associated requirements documentation
Deep expertise and experience in end to end architecting and managing of process and decision model repositories
Experience product managing and rolling out BPM, BDM or other low code capabilities within large scale organizations
Hands on experience with mapping and modelling tools using DMN and BPMN– example tools include Signavio, Camunda, Sapiens, Appian, etc.
Must showcase skills on process modelling, decisions modelling, creating asset library, optimization of process models, simulations and prototyping
Experience in designing, architecting, and optimizing decisions models specifically for implementation
Must have expertise of process improvement and process re-engineering frameworks like Lean, Six Sigma. Yellow Belt or higher is a plus
Proven record of using process mapping and improvement techniques to improve process and decision efficiency, and identifying control gaps to improve overall operational capabilities
Ability to hold and independently drive stakeholder and working group conversations on project
Understanding of core concepts of data analysis, ETL, and management e.g. KPIs, KRIs, KGIs etc.
