Customer Analytics Manager
Anthropologie seeks a statistician (or related field) for modeling and data analysis projects. Working with internal and external partners, s/he will understand and leverage insights across website analytics, back-end customer and purchase data, financial data, third-party and customer feedback data.
The insights generated will drive better execution in a variety of business areas such as promotions, assortment, innovation, local marketing, web marketing, social media, service, and loyalty. The position requires constant collaboration both within Marketing and other departments to facilitate shared learning and cross-fertilization of ideas and knowledge. Most importantly, s/he will equip Anthropologie with a better understanding of its customer and contribute to a better customer experience and driving sales.
Execute monthly/quarterly customer reporting, and work to improve current processes.
Work with Company IT to define requirements for system improvements/enhancements in support of marketing and customer analytics
Execute analysis projects using various in-house data sources
Support new business initiatives from a customer perspective
Support Email and Digital marketing teams with data requests and ensure they have self-service data available as well.
Use statistical techniques to design and evaluate marketing tests.
Validate company assumptions with customer data
Demonstrated ability to interpret multi-source data (i.e., syndicated, CRM, customer contact, digital, socio-economic, etc.) into insights that lead to business actions.
Must have hands-on SQL experience with a strong ability to manipulate data and to go directly to data warehouse environment for data extraction
Working knowledge of SAS, JMP, SPSS, Clementine, R, or other statistical packages is a plus
Experience with business intelligence tools (MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects or comparable) preferred
Knowledge of web tracking technologies and web analytics datasets is a plus.
Proficient in MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint required; Visio, SQL, and Unica experience preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree is required. Concentration in marketing, analytics, statistics, mathematics or computer science a plus. M.S./MBA is a plus.
