The John C. Hench Division of Animation and Digital Arts at Company’s School of Cinematic Arts is seeking a Production Specialist to provide specialized technical expertise to support faculty, students and staff in the Division in production and post-production including sound production.
Providing guidance on digital setup, animation equipment acquisition and enhancement, laboratory operation, facility technical expertise to support faculty, students and staff of Animation and Digital Arts
Acting as a liaison between Animation and Creative Technology.
Providing advice on digital setup or equipment acquisition and enhancement.
Scheduling and coordinating animation facilities, labs and classrooms in conjunction with SCA Operations and Facilities.
Casting and supervising student workers assigned to classes based on specific skillsets required by faculty.
Tracking student project status and requests within allocated production budgets.
MINIMUM – Bachelor’s Degree in Film & TV Production from accredited university
PREFERRED – Master’s Degree in Film & TV Production from accredited university
Minimum 3 years of experience
Preferred 5+ years of experience in sound editing, design and mixing with proficiency in Pro Tools, Avid ICON D-Control Mixing Console or equivalent, and Avid S6 Modular Control Surface
Professional demonstration experience preferred
Must be a self-starter and be extremely organized
Able to track multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work under pressure
Have a current reel that shows strong creative work and technical proficiency in sound design, editing and/or mixing
