ABOUT THIS JOB
If you’d like an opportunity where you’d sell our Commercial Card and Merchant payment processing services to help our clients grow their businesses, this might be the job for you. As a Merchant Account Executive II you’ll be selling our Merchant Services to targeted small to mid-size companies. You’ll do everything from prospecting to negotiating the deal. Aquire new business through direct sales by generating leads from internal and external networks, data mart lists and self-generated leads.
Must be able to use existing Company sales presentation tools.
Be able to develop an RFP for large to mid-size sales in order to secure the sales.
Be able to suggest appropriate products and services.
Be able to generate pricing models.
Must meet underwriting requirements
Must complete appropriate paperwork to ensure customer satisfaction.
Must meet commitments outlined in their annual Territory Plan or reaching their annual sales, profit, cross-selling and referral goals.
Must be able to handle more complex industry and technical sales situations typically found in mid-size businesses.
Ability to successully call on C-level individuals in targeted companies.

Proven sales skills.
Must have an understanding of all aspects of the credit card transaction processing business.
Must possess knowledge of industry rules and regulations, working knowledge of core processing systems, and P.O.S. products, programming knowledge and card product attributes.
Responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all NACHA and/or VISA/MasterCard Rules and Regulations.
Experience calling on C-Level individuals
Experience in MS Access.
Previous accounting, marketing or software sales experience.
Contract negotiations experience.
General knowledge of commercial or consumer credit.
•Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
One year specific sales experience in Commercial Card, commercial lending, Merchant Bankcard or experience in sales, marketing and accounting.
Two years computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Two years business to business sales or support experience.
