A Little About Us
The team of Agency Partners are responsible for Yahoo’s relationship with our key media agencies. The primary objective is to drive revenue from a selected agency or agencies through their UK planning and buying teams. Working as part of a proactive, passionate and dynamic sales team the Agency Partner will need to work collaboratively with all the other sales teams (Audience, Studio, Vertical etc.), Agency Partners, and Account Managers within their team.
A Lot About You
An Agency Partner is a key external role within the UK Digital Field Sales team. Working in one of the three agency partnership teams that are one of a number of sales roles reporting into one of three Agency Leads. The main purpose of the role is to generate digital revenue from a specific group of agencies. Working alongside an Account Manager, the Agency Partner will sell market leading solutions to their media agency customers and will include one or more of Yahoo’s portfolio of products which fall into Premium, Audience, Native, Video, Content Marketing and Search.
Your Day
• Generate and maximize revenue from a pre-defined group of agencies
• Exceed a pre-defined quarterly individual revenue target
• Accurately forecast weekly and quarterly revenue using Salesforce
• Produce market-leading solutions to a wide variety of media briefs
• Create productive relationships with all agency digital influencers, focusing on Digital Buying and Planning teams, Creative Solutions teams, and Comms Planning teams
• Ensure we exceed customer expectations by offering best-in-market gold standard service
• Communicate Yahoo’s proposition to key customers within the agencies
• Identify and implement new revenue opportunities
• Ensure all business is run and delivered successfully
• Develop the partnership skills of their Account Manager
• Working with Yahoo’s leadership team to ensure the overall objectives of the business are met
You Must Have
• At least 6-9 years media sales experience
• Ideally GroupM experience
• A thorough understanding of the digital display market
• A complete understanding of UK media agencies
• A strong understanding of the offline media market
• An exhaustive understanding of all Yahoo products both current and future
• Proven ability to work within a large team and cross functionally
