Interning with the ABC News Research team gives a real life look into what it means to be an analyst in the television program research industry. Our team asks – Who is our audience? What content best caters to our audience? How does the production team produce the best programming for our viewers? Ultimately we hope to answer – How do these factors translate into ratings performance? How can we gain and retain viewers? What will make us more competitive? What segment of the population makes up our program’s audience? Our team works mostly with producers of ABC News programs to provide them with an accurate picture of how their programs perform, emerging trends and guidance on strategy for future performance.
