Job Description:
The Classics Coordinator is responsible for the administrative work required to ensure the execution of all sales, marketing, publicity and distribution functions, as well as elements of the planning and implementation of marketing and advertising initiatives.
Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
MARKETING
• Manage advertising contracts, campaigns, and strategies for physical and digital media outlets.
• Maintain M&P spends in company ad log.
• Manage online campaigns/content – create localized digital tools
• Chief liaison with 3rd Party creative vendors
SALES
• With sales team, manage scheduling and pricing of all products with WBR, WEA and 3rd party distributors.
• Compile all assets for solicitation page creation, deliver assets to distribution companies.
• Create monthly retail priority release presentation kits.
• Manage sound scan merge requests.
PUBLICITY
• Manage day to day requests for promos and product info.
• With 3rd parties, manage all promo mailings on major titles.
REPORTING
• Monitor daily sales at key retail accounts
• Pull sound scan reports on a weekly basis.
FINANCIAL
• SAP system Vendor setup, take delivery of invoices from vendors, coding, secure approval and send to accounts payable for timely payment; track payments and research delinquencies when needed; closing of PO's.
• Quarterly and Annual reconciliation of all Marketing spends with WBR Finance & WEA data records; records maintenance in accordance with best bookkeeping practices.
SUPPORT/CLERICAL
• Manage product canvass process, for promo and commercial release.
• Book artist travel, hotels, etc. for domestic promotions.
• Oversee intern staff
• Organize promo mailings to retail, media, etc.
Special Requirements/Preferences:
• Good typing and computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Photo Shop).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of classical music artists and repertoire
Education Required/Preferred:
• Bachelor’s Degree
