PURPOSE
The role of the Burberry Private Client Assistant is to support the Burberry Private Clients (BPC) team to drive sales and productivity and in the development of relationships with Burberry’s Very Important Customers (VICs) by providing an exceptional and personalized shopping experience in store and, when required, offsite. To act as a brand ambassador and assist the in-store team, demonstrating excellence in selling, service, styling and wardrobing skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support BPC Consultants to conduct client appointments, providing a personalized service and maintaining close relationships with all (V)VICs (in-store or off-site)
Help BPC Consultants to expand their client books by actively clienteling when not assisting in appointments, by partnering with sales associates or networking
Assist the BPC team to cultivate client relationships by offering support in client communications (digital, mail outs, customer correspondence, telephone calls etc)
Ensure that the BPC lounge is merchandised appropriately and work with the BPC Consultants and Visual Merchandising Manager to maintain a luxurious environment for the brand’s top customers
Support in-store BPC team to execute all BPC sales initiatives driven by the BPC Manager
Provide a luxury experience, demonstrating expertise in styling and wardrobing for all occasions
Offer after-sales services to customers to boost loyalty to the brand and to the BPC service
Maintain ‘Service and Standards’ at all times by adhering to all policies and ensuring delivery of the ‘Burberry Experience’ to the highest standard
Help maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store
Be prepared to cover for BPC Consultant on days off or during annual leave
Work closely with BPC Consultants in store and with BPC Manager
Develop relationships in store with other sales associates, the store management and the stock team
QUALIFICATIONS
Language skills appropriate to the country and clients
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in selling to (V)VICs
Proven track record of delivering sales and exceeding targets
Luxury experience/background preferable
Existing client book preferable
